Our colleagues asked residents of the coastal zone of the Northeast Aegean what fishing cultural heritage means to them. This book includes some of the answers they received. Memories of fishermen and their families, views and opinions on fisheries and fishing identity, on ancient and modern knowledge about the sea and its creatures are some of the topics covered in the twenty chapters of this volume.  The book is in Greek but its many illustrations are clearly understood by all!.
